Production Designer
Elizabeth Mary Moore is one of Australia’s most highly regarded Production Designers who has worked extensively across film and television.
Elizabeth designed the comedy series The Letdown (dir. Trent O’Donnell, 2017) produced by Giant Dwarf and the second season of No Activity (dir. Trent O’Donnell, 2015) for Jungle and Stan. Other credits include Barracuda (dir. Robert Connolly, 2015) for Matchbox Films and ABC, The Beautiful Lie (dir. Glendyn Ivin & Peter Salmon, 2015) for Endemol, the second series of Puberty Blues (dir. Glendyn Ivin, Emma Freeman/Southern Star, 2012) and Devil’s Dust (dir. Jessica Hobbs/ Fremantle, 2012).
Elizabeth was the production designer on the feature films Backtrack (dir. Michael Petroni/ See Pictures, 2014) starring Adrien Brody, Not Suitable for Children (dir. Peter Templeman/ Exit Films, 2012) starring Ryan Kwanten, The Square (dir. Nash Edgerton/ Film Depot, 2008), Accidents Happen (dir. Andrew Lancaster/ Red Carpet Productions, 2009), Gone (dir. Ringan Ledwidge/ Working Title, 2006), Opal Dream (dir. Peter Cattaneo/ BBC Films, 2006) and The Illustrated Family Doctor (dir. Kriv Stenders/ Pod Films, 2005) and a segment of Arenamedia’s The Turning (dir. Shaun Gladwell/ Arenamedia, 2013).
She received an AFI Award Nomination for the Open Craft Award for the telefeature Preservation (dir. Sofya Gollan/ Chilling Pictures, 2003).
In addition to her feature and television work, Elizabeth has worked with notable directors - including Nash Edgerton, Rachel Griffiths and Michael James Rowland - on award-winning short films.
Most recently, Elizabeth worked on the third season of the popular series The Split (dir. Abi Morgan/ Sister Pictures, 2022). Her other television credits include Secret City: Under the Eagle (dir. Daniel Nettheim, Tony Krawitz/ Matchbox Pictures, 2019) which earned her an AACTA nomination for Best Production Design, Sisters (dir. Shannon Murphy/ Endelmol Shine, 2017), the See-Saw Pictures television co-production with Foxtel and Sky Network, The End (dir. Jessica M. Thompson, 2019) and the Stan TV drama, The Gloaming, for ABC International.
