Andrew Knight - Best original Screenplay for Ali’s Wedding 

When a hasty lie triggers a series of catastrophic events, Ali, son of a Muslim cleric, is caught in an impossible choice – to honour his sense of duty and carry out his arranged marriage or follow his heart and be with the girl he loves.

Ali's Wedding received a a total of eight nominations in this years AACTA Awards.

Phillip Noyce - Longford Lyell Lifetime Achievement Award

Phillip was announced as the recipient of this year's AACTA Longford Lyell Award – Australia’s highest screen accolade.
