Tommy Murphy's 'Packer & Sons' coming to Belvoir St in 2019

Cameron’s client Tommy Murphy’s new play Packer & Sons is coming to Belvoir St in 2019. The play has just been announced as part of the launch of the 2019 Belvoir St season.

Plotted around the transitions of power from father to son over four generations, Packer & Sons is play about power and what it does to the men who wield it.

A deeply researched work from Tommy Murphy whose previous plays include Mark Colvin’s Kidney and Holding the Man, Packer & Sons puts on stage the men who have loomed large over Sydney for nearly 100 years. 

The play is supported by the Australian Writers’ Guild’s David Williamson Prize.

Tickets are available with a 2019 Belvoir subscription or single tickets will be available next year.
