Cameron's Welcomes Screenwriter Chris Squadrito

Cameron’s is excited to welcome Screenwriter, Chris Squadrito, to the agency.

Chris is an award-winning writer based in Sydney, with a distinct passion for television. Most recently Chris script edited Goalpost’s 2018 Foxtel miniseries Fighting Season for Blake Ayshford, and script edited and co-wrote on Netflix’s first Australian Original series Tidelands (2018), from Steve Irwin and Hoodlum Entertainment.

Chris began his career in scripted development for Essential Media with Ian Collie (Rake), where he contributed to projects for Debra Oswald and Tony McNamara.

He holds a Masters in Screenwriting from AFTRS, where he penned the award-winning short film, By This River (2013), an adaptation of Christos Tsiolkas’ The Disco At The End Of Communism, selected for Flickerfest and the Uppsala Film Festival, and was the recipient of the prestigious Foxtel Award for Exceptional New Talent.

Chris is the creator of two projects in active development; Able Bodied, a US television series with Essential Media US, Anonymous Content and Kari Skogland (Handmaids Tale, House of Cards), with Patricia Clarkson (Sharp Objects) set to star, and Ringmaster, an Australian series in development with Essential Media and the ABC.
