US and Canadian Rights Sold for Vicki Laveau-Harvie's 'The Erratics'

US rights for Stella Prize winner, Vicki Laveau-Harvie’s The Erratics (Fourth Estate/HarperCollins) sold in a pre-empt to Knopf editor Carole Baron, while Canadian rights were sold at auction to Doubleday Canada publisher Amy Black. Daniel Lazar at Writers House conducted the auction on behalf of the Cameron Creswell agency.

The Erratics is Laveau-Harvie’s debut memoir, and follows two daughters long estranged from their parents who return home to Canada to care for their outlandishly tyrannical mother and their emotionally terrorised father.
