TV Round Up: ‘Total Control’ S3 and ‘Prosper’

Total Control Season 3 is now streaming weekly on ABC TV/ABC iView. Pip Karmel wrote episodes 2 and 5 of the series, with ep 5 airing on Sunday night (Feb 11) at 8:30pm on ABC TV. Pip won the AWGIE Award for Best Television Series or Miniseries for Ep 3 of Season 1 and was nominated for Ep 2 of Season 2. The third season takes place two years on from the explosive events of the second season, outsider turned kingmaker, Alex Irving is now completely at home in the nation’s capital. She’s at the centre of power, holding the Government on a short leash, but it’s taking a toll.

Prosper, a gripping eight-part one-hour drama is streaming now on Stan. Liz Doran developed and wrote episodes 2 & 3 of the series and DOP Hugh Miller shot the first block. Starring Richard Roxburgh and Rebecca Gibney, Prosper is set in the inner sanctum of an evangelical megachurch run by the wealthy Quinn family, when their charismatic founder announces a US expansion, the collision between faith and ambition threatens to tear his family and church apart.

Episodes 1-4 of Total Control S3 are available to steam on ABC iView, with new episodes being released weekly on Sundays at 8:30pm. Prosper is now streaming on Stan.
