Cameron's Welcomes Writer and Director Mark Leonard Winter

Cameron’s is delighted to welcome Mark Leonard Winter to the agency.

Mark is a double Helpmann Award winning actor, writer, and recent ADG Award winning director for Best Direction in a Debut Feature Film.

His debut feature film as writer/director, The Rooster, was awarded the DGA Award for Best Debut Feature Film, two ACS awards for Cinematography, the AACTA Award for Best Supporting Actor for Hugo Weaving's performance, and it was also nominated for Best Indie Film, Best Costume Design and Best Actor at the AACTAs. The screenplay was also nominated for an AWGIE. The Rooster premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival in its Bright Horizons Competition and then appeared as a finalist in the Cinéfest Oz Film Prize. It had its international premiere at the Santa Barbara Film Festival also in competition. It screened at SXSW Sydney, Adelaide Film Festival, Darwin Film Festival, Brisbane Film Festival and had a nationwide theatrical release through Bonsai Films.

Mark was a recipient of the highly prestigious Sidney Myer Creative Fellowship awarded for outstanding talent and exceptional artistic courage: one of the few actors to have ever been given this honour. He is represented for acting by Lisa Mann at LMCM.
