Cameron's Welcomes Actor Alex Rathgeber
Over the past two decades, Alex has established a career as a leading man in Australian and international live theatre and entertainment, playing principal roles in mainstage productions across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and on London’s West End ultimately being awarded a Helpmann Award for his performance as Billy Crocker in Anything Goes (Opera Australia & John Frost).
His other leading roles have included Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera (London), Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, Carl Bruner in Ghost The Musical, Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show, Greg Connell in The Boy From Oz, Robert Martin in The Drowsy Chaperone, Sid Worley in An Officer And A Gentleman, and Simon Stride in Jekyll & Hyde - 25th Anniversary Concert.
On television, Alex has had guest roles in Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Rush, Winners and Losers, and featured on Carols in the Domain, The Morning Show, ABC News Breakfast, Mornings with Kerri-Anne, and more.
Off-stage, Alex has been a passionate advocate for a variety of charities, volunteering as a regular guest artist with Very Special Kids, and as an ambassador for Entertainment Assist and Global Citizen.
Alex is currently touring Australia as Giles Ralston in the Crossroads Live and Shake & Stir production of THE MOUSETRAP.
