Heather Taylor Johnson: new Coetzee Centre Writer in Residence

Our client Dr Heather Taylor Johnson is the third and final Coetzee Centre Writer in Residence, a generous six-month fellowship made possible by the Copyright Agency Limited Cultural Fund. Heather is the author of two novels, Pursuing Love and Death (Fourth Estate/HarperCollins, 2013) and Jean Harley was Here (UQP, 2017), the latter shortlisted for the Readings Prize for New Fiction and being published in the US in 2018, as well as four books of poetry, the most recent being Meanwhile, the Oak (Five Islands Press). During her time at the J M. Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice at the University of Adelaide, Heather will be working on a new novel about two Australian tourists who are caught up in a gun-massacre in the US.
