Luke Eve's Debut Feature Film 'I Met a Girl' Announced by Screen Australia

Screen Australia announced production funding for twelve new projects this morning; among them is I Met a Girl, the feature film debut of Cameron’s client, director Luke Eve.

The film follows an impulsive young musician with schizophrenia who falls for a mysterious woman... who may be all in his head. But when she suddenly vanishes, he takes off across the country to find her, forcing his brother to try to rescue him.

Luke, who previously worked on his highly acclaimed and multiple award-winning series, Low Life and High Life, with writer Glen Dolman (Bloom) have reunited for this project, which aims to explore mental health in an accessible, authentic and entertaining fashion.

Production is set to kick off next year in Western Australia. You will be able to catch updates on the project on our website.
