Shannon Murphy Awarded the Women in Motion Young Talent Award in Cannes

Congratulations to Shannon Murphy who was recognised by the Women In Motion awards in Cannes last week. Murphy has been awarded the Young Talent Award which “pays tribute to a promising female film director, offering them financial support.”

Launched in 2015 by Kering, the program is dedicated to celebrating women and advancing gender equality throughout the industry. Each year, the awards are given to prominent women and young female talents who seek to raise the profile of women in the industry – through the choices they have made, their careers and their view of the world. 

Shannon is currently in production on the Amazon series The Power.
