'Erotic Stories' Released on SBS
Congratulations to Cameron’s clients: Madeleine Gottlieb, Leticia Caceres, Marieke Hardy, Adrian Chiarella, Tamara Asmar, and Christine Chueng on the release of SBS’s new drama series Erotic Stories.
Erotic Stories is an anthology of eight half-hour tales. Cleverly written, delicately directed, and performed by a star-studded cast, Erotic Stories spotlights characters whose combination of age, gender, race, sexual orientation, and disability tends to make their erotic experiences less visible onscreen.
The series has already received glowing reviews. Debi Enker wrote in her four-star review in the Sydney Morning Herald that, “While there are distinct differences in the style and subject matter of the chapters, the quality remains consistently impressive.” The quality of the show was further praised by Mel Campbell in her four-and-a-half-star review on screen hub stating that, “the directors show an admirable control of tone, understanding what each story needs.”
Madeleine Gottlieb and Leticia Cáceres directed the series, with scripts written by Marieke Hardy, Adrian Chiarella, and Tamara Asmar, along with Christine Cheung editing four episodes.
The series stars Frances O’Connor, Mark Coles Smith, Kate Box, Tim Draxl, Danielle Cormack, Alex FitzAlan, Rärriwuy Hick and Catherine McClements. It is produced by Lingo Pictures, part of ITV Studios, for SBS with major production investment from Screen Australia.
Erotic Stories premieres on SBS on Thursday 26th October. All episode’s available on SBS On Demand, and double episodes air 9:30pm Thursdays.
