Cameron’s Welcomes Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert To The Agency

Cameron’s welcomes Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert to the books division.

Moore-Gilbert is a British-Australian academic and author of the best-selling memoir, “The Uncaged Sky” (Ultimo Press, April 2022) which documented her extraordinary fight to survive 804 days imprisoned in Iran as a defiant hostage to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert is a British-Australian political scientist specialising in the Middle East. A graduate of Cambridge and Melbourne universities, Kylie speaks several Middle Eastern languages and has spent significant periods travelling and conducting academic research in the region. In 2018 she was arbitrarily detained whilst visiting Iran and served more than two years of a ten-year sentence before being freed in a prisoner exchange deal negotiated by the Australian government. Kylie is the author of the bestselling 2022 memoir ‘The Uncaged Sky: My 804 Days in an Iranian Prison,’ and is a regular contributor of commentary and analysis on subjects relating to human rights and international affairs.
