‘Talk to Me’ Trailer Released
The trailer for the supernatural horror-thriller, Talk to Me, has been released.
Cameron’s clients, Cinematographer Aaron McLisky (ACS) and Production Designer Bethany Ryan, both worked on the film and thier impressive skills are on full display in the trailer, with Aaron’s thrilling visuals and Beth’s creepy designs both heavily showcased.
The film follows a group of friends who discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand. They become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.
After its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, where it screened in the midnight section, after which A24 acquired the North American rights, it went onto screen at SXSW 2023, the Berlin International Film Festival 2023, and had its Australian premiere on the closing night of the 2022 Adelaide film festival to a standing ovation.
It is the directorial feature debut of Australian twin brothers Danny and Michael Philippou (RackaRacka), and was written by Bill Hinzman, Daley Pearson, and Danny Philippou. It stars Sophie Wilde, Joe Bird, and Alexandra Jensen, and was produced by Causeway Films.
The feature will release in theatres nationwide on 28 July 2023.
