Troppo Season 2 Now Streaming on ABC iView

Congratulations to Cameron’s writers Jane Allen, Andrew Anastasios, Cole Haddon and Chelsea Cassio for their work on the newly released second season of local hit Troppo.

Jane worked previously on the first season and has returned to pen the opening episode, which sets off this season with a fiery, bizarre local murder. Chelsea, Cole and Andrew are all newcomers to the show and are responsible for writing episodes 2, 6 and 8, respectively.

Six months after Ted Conkaffey (Thomas Jane) and Amanda Pharrell (Nicole Chamoun) solved their first murder case, the unlikely duo is now investigating the demise of a healing retreat leader with connections to an exotic drug ring and a ‘bikie’ gang. While Amanda tangles with an old enemy and finds a new love interest, Ted’s past stalks him and his family to Crimson Lake — with deadly consequences.

Adapted for television by Yolanda Ramke, Troppo is based on the Crimson Lake books, a contemporary crime series which shines a spotlight on Queensland, Australia. Season two is inspired by the second book in the series, Redemption Point.

All eight episodes are now streaming on ABC iView and will be available globally on Prime Video from the 25th of July 2024.
