Cameron’s Welcomes Performer Ryan Yeates to the Agency

Ryan Yeates was one of the lead actors across all 60 episodes (3 seasons) of the globally distributed Nickelodeon series Rock Island Mysteries (Fremantle/Paramount +). Rock Island Mysteries was nominated for the AACTA award for Best Children's Program and was a finalist for the SPA Awards. Ryan played the fan favourite comedic character Ellis Grouch.

Ryan made his debut as Lachy, the Junior Purple Wiggle on stage and screen with The Wiggles. His professional theatre credits include as Charlie Bucket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (GFO); as Noah Gellman in Caroline or Change (directed by Mitchell Butel for The Hayes Theatre); Theo in Pippin (GFO); Gibbie in Playing Beatie Bow (Sydney Theatre Company) and in the chorus of Carmen (Opera Australia).

As a singer and trained dancer in all forms, Ryan is a state and national champion Irish dancer. In 2023 he played the role of Danny in The Drover’s Wife for QTC, an operatic workshop directed by Leah Purcell.

Ryan continues his training with Josh Anderson and Contessa Treffone at The Actors Division in Sydney and has recently returned from a six- week intensive at The Atlantic School in New York studying Practical Aesthetics.

Ryan is an in-demand voice-over artist represented by EM Voices.
