Cameron’s Clients on Sydney Stages in 2025

It’s with great pleasure to announce the Cameron’s clients whose work will premiere and be presented on Sydney stages in 2025.

Eamon Flack has adapted for the stage Helen Garner’s much-loved novel The Spare Room for Belvoir St Theatre which will premiere in June 2025. Directed by Eamon, the production will star Judy Davis as Helen and Elizabeth Alexander as Nicola. As Artistic Director of Belvoir St, Eamon will also direct Song of First Desire by Andrew Bovell and The True History of the Life and Death of King Lear & His Three Daughters by William Shakespeare.

The Dictionary of Lost Words adapted by Verity Laughton from the novel by Pip Williams will return to the Sydney Theatre Company in March 2025 after a hugely successful interstate tour. Cameron’s client Max Lyandvert is Composer & Sound Designer on the production.

Kate Mulvany’s stage adaptation of D’Arcy Niland’s The Shiralee, commissioned by the STC, will receive its world premiere at the Drama Theatre, Sydney Opera House in October 2025. Kate will also star in the adaptation alongside Josh McConville.

Shakthi’s gripping new play The Wrong Gods will receive its world premiere at Belvoir St Theatre in May 2025. Co-directed by Hannah Goodwin and Shakthi, the play melds mother-and-daughter struggle with the economics of progress, asking, what are we worshipping? And what price will we pay?

Ensemble Theatre will stage two David Williamson plays next year. The first being Aria in January, a world premiere and darkly funny exploration of the intricate dynamics and rivalry inherent within every family. The second being David’s iconic play Emerald City starring Guy Edmonds, Rachel Gordon and Matt Minto to be presented in July.
