The largest gathering of Asian and Asian Australian writers and thinkers will be coming together soon, for a weekend of thought-provoking panels, inspiring conversations and engaging workshops at OzAsia Festival’s Weekend of Words. The 2024 program features an extraordinary lineup of novelists, journalists, poets, playwrights, performers, and screenwriters from across Australia and Asia.
The festival is curated by multi-award-winning writer and comedian Sami Shah.
‘This year, OzAsia Festival’s Weekend of Words promises to explore themes of identity, power, culture, community, gender, sexuality, and more. I invite you to engage, reflect, and enjoy the festival and the vibrant conversations it brings!’
Sami will also be hosting the beloved Closing Night Debate, which will feature comedians and authors, including Jason Chong, Benjamin Law, Sarah Malik, Jennifer Wong and many more, debating Chinese Food vs Indian Food.
The vibrant festival will take place from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th November at Adelaide Festival Centre. Weekend of Words program details and tickets available at ozasiafestival.com.au.
