The Secret She Keeps, Directed by Cameron's Client Catherine Millar, Sells Globally
Lingo Pictures and Network Ten’s highly anticipated series, The Secret She Keeps, has sold to multiple international territories ahead of its Australian debut. Cameron’s client Catherine Millar served as the set-up director and also directed the final episodes.
The series has been acquired by AMC Networks’ US streaming service Sundance Now and the BBC in the UK. Other territories the series has sold to include France, New Zealand, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Russia, CIS, the Baltics and Israel, with more territories expected to be announced soon.
Based on the book by Michael Robotham, the series follows two heavily pregnant women who have a chance encounter in a Sydney supermarket. Meghan is a glamorous online ‘influencer’ who is married to an ambitious television sports reporter. Agatha is a battler who works as a shelf stacker in a supermarket. Both women have secrets which emerge after their worlds collide in one shocking act.
The psychological thriller stars Laura Carmichael (Downtown Abbey) Jessica De Gouw (The Crown, The Hunting), Michael Dorman (The Invisible Man, Patriot) and Ryan Corr (Hacksaw Ridge).
