Ben Lawrence's Acclaimed Drama 'Hearts and Bones' to Release Digitlly

Writer-director Ben Lawrence’s acclaimed drama, Hearts and Bones, and will debut on Australian digital platforms from May 6th.

The film had it’s World Premiere at the 2019 Sydney Film Festival which was then followed by its international Premiere at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival. The narrative feature debut for Ben received praise from both festivals for its morally complex and unflinching depiction of two men who are battling persistent demons from their past. 

Originally scheduled for an April 30th theatrical release, the film will now be fast-tracked to various digital platforms from May 6th, following the closure of cinemas nationwide.

Hearts and Bones follows a war photographer (Hugo Weaving) and a refugee (Andrew Luri) who both discover a photograph that threatens to destroy them both.
