Director Shannon Murphy, Discuses Killing Eve, Babyteeth and More

Cameron's client, acclaimed director Shannon Murphy, spoke to The Sydney Morning Herald this week on a range of topics that included her debut feature film, Babyteeth, and her upcoming episodes for the third season of Killing Eve.

Shannon, who was recently named in Variety's '10 Directors to Watch' 2020 list, directed Episodes 5 and 6 in the third installment of the hit series at the end of last year. That directly followed the international premiere of her debut feature film, Babyteeth, at the Venice Film Festival where it received an 8-minute standing ovation.

"Venice was huge for all of us – it really put us on the international map. And it was so wildly emotional. I didn't know, because I'd never made a film before, just what an incredible communal experience that is," she tells The Herald.

On what attracted her to Killing Eve, she said, "I really love the tension between Villanelle and Eve, and I'm so moved by the relationship between Villanelle and Konstantin – it says so much about the family you choose instead of the family you're born to."

Killing Eve Season 3 airs every Sunday on ABC and iView with Shannon's episode expected to drop May 10th and May 17th.
