Mixtape Announces Further Cast, as Director Lucy Gaffy and Cinematographer Marden Dean Head to Ireland

Australian/Irish co-production Mixtape has announced more of its cast since filming finished locally and made the shift to Ireland.

Director Lucy Gaffy and Cinematographer Marden Dean have been revealed to be working with Bridgerton star Florence Hunt and newcomer Rory Walton-Smith, who will play the younger versions of Teresa Palmers and Jim Sturgess’ characters. Further ensemble cast were announced as well, including Irish actors Mark O’Halloran, Helen Behan, Conor Sánchez, Jonathan Harden, Siobhan O’Kelly, British actor Alexis Rodney, and Finnish actress Sara Soulié. Australian actors Ben Lawson, Julia Savage, Jacqueline McKenzie, and Chika Ikogwe will also feature in the series.

Based on Jane Sanderson’s romantic novel, Mixtape follows Daniel and Alison who reconnect after decades a part on opposite sides of the world through a song from their shared past. The series is produced by Aquarius Films and Subotica, with major investors including the Foxtel Group in association with Screen Australia and Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland.

Cameron’s client Christine Cheung has also joined the team, and will be working as an Editor across multiple episodes.
