Andrew Undi Lee Joins Cameron’s

Andrew Undi Lee is the creator of Night Bloomers, a Korean Australian horror series that he wrote, directed and produced, which premiered at SXSW Sydney in 2023 and was awarded an AWGIE award in 2024.

Andrew’s other credits include working in various writer, creator & consultant capacities for such shows as The Newsreader (ABC), After the Verdict (Channel 9), Apple Cider Vinegar (Netflix AU) and Grown Ups (Netflix UK).  Currently Andrew is writing on a feature film commissioned by the Powerhouse Museum and Co-curious, with a team of writers from minority backgrounds in the Western Suburbs of Sydney.

As a graduate of The University of Technology Sydney and AFTRS, Andrew is a queer, Korean Australian director, writer, producer and production designer. He is a recipient of the Kenneth B Myer Award for Exceptional Talent and the Young Australian Korean Filmmaker Award from the Korean Consulate of Australia.

His Screen Australia Hot Shots film Melon Grab, screened at the 2017 Sydney International Film Festival and was nominated for the Dendy Award for Best Short Film and Best Director. Andrew also received a nomination from the Australian Director's Guild for Best Direction in a Short Drama. As a Production designer, his films have screened at the Berlinale, Sundance, Venice Film Festival, Tribeca and Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival.
