Most recently, she was co-creator and executive producer of the acclaimed New Zealand series After the Party (Lingo Pictures/ Luminous Beast, 2023), of which she also wrote on four out of six episodes. The series aired on ABC in 2024 and received widespread critical praise from local audiences and reviewers.

Dianne’s other credits include the features Beyond the Known World (Reservoir Films, 2017) and Apron Strings (Great Southern Television, 2008), which she co-wrote with Shuchi Kothari. The latter film was nominated at the 2009 New Zealand Film and TV Awards for Best Screenplay for a Feature Film and Best Film. She was recognised again by the NZ Writer’s Guild for Best Unproduced Feature Film Script in 2014, for her work The Last Hippie Trail.
