Congratulations to our AACTA Nominated Clients
The Cameron Creswell Agency congratulates our AACTA nominated clients.
Cameron’s clients were involved in every film nominated in the Best Feature Film category this year, and received a total of thirteen nominations across the Feature Film and Television categories.
Congratulations to the following clients:
David Michod has been nominated for Best Film, as well as Best Direction and Best Screenplay in a Feature Film for his acclaimed epic The King, which received 13 nominations in total including Best Cinematography for Adam Arkapaw.
Dany Cooper received a nomination for Best Editing in a Feature Film for Judy + Punch which re-imagines the Punch & Judy puppet show as a blackly comic feminist revenge tale starring Mia Wasikowska and Damon Herriman.
Hotel Mumbai, set around the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, was meticulously brought to life by Production Designer Steven Jones-Evans and Costume Designer Anna Borghesi who were both nominated for their work in their respective categories.
Costume Designer Margot Wilson and Production Designer Alex Holmes were nominated for their breathtaking work on The Nightingale, a harrowing revenge tale set in 1890s Tasmania.
On the television side, Blake Ayshford’s Fighting Season has been nominated for Best Telefeature or Mini-Series; the series centres around a mystery involving Australian soldiers returning on leave from deployment in Afghanistan.
Production Designer Elizabeth Mary Moore was nominated for Secret City: Under the Eagle and Costume Designer, Xanthe Heubel has been nominated for Lambs of God.
Finally, Robyn Butler and Wayne Hope’s series, The Inbestigators, was nominated for Best Children’s Program.
